Our one or two-day courses meet the requirements of the National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF) Certified Pool Operators (CPO®) certification. The CPO® course is a nationally recognized certification and is required in over 26 states. The certification is valid for 5 years. The National Swimming Pool Foundation CPO® Course is a two (2) day training course that is a nationally recognized program for Commercial Pool and Spa Operators. When you successfully complete the course, the National Swimming Pool Foundation will certify you and give you a permanent registration number recognized in all 50 states.
All students will use the NSPF Pool/Spa Operators handbook and will be taught in a relaxed environment. Our instructors are experienced in the operation, management, and design of commercial and public pools of all sizes. You will be trained in the most advanced techniques, safety, water chemistry, pool management, and maintenance in this course. The techniques and training you receive will apply to the day-to-day operation requirements of your own pool.
As a supervisor or pool operator, you have a responsibility to protect your patrons' life, safety, and health while they use your facility. The NSPF Pool/Spa Operator course is designed not only for the pool operator, but also provides valuable information to aquatic directors, supervisors, pool owners, managers, recreation directors, and engineers who manage/operate swimming pools throughout the United States.

Online Learning Followed by a One Day Course
Pool Operator Primer™
This online training program can be the first step to earning CPO® Certification, or it can be an excellent stand-alone education in the fundamentals of pool operations. This online curriculum follows the 18 chapters in the NSPF® Pool & Spa Operator™ Handbook, which is provided. Students have access to the Pool Operator Primer online course for a six month period, which gives them the opportunity to review the material many times.
Successful completion of the Pool Operator Primer™ earns a Record of Completion. If you choose to pursue the CPO® Certification, contact Best Aquatic Management to enroll in a Pool Operator Fusion™ class within six months of completing the Pool Operator Primer™.
Pool Operator Fusion™
This one-day class is offered by Best Aquatic Management instructors and is an economical and convenient way to achieve the CPO® Certification. This one-day class can either be the second day of any two-day classroom certification course, or it can be a stand alone one-day Pool Operator Fusion™ class.
Sign up for a Fusion class by contacting Best Aquatic Management. Students must present a Pool Operator Primer™ Record of Completion and successfully complete the Pool Operator Fusion™ class to obtain a CPO®Certification.
